It all started for me Dave Phillips in the 1980s when I started to go to shows and conventions. I quickly realised that there was a gap in the market which I could fill using my knowledge of autographs and my talent for selling.


In 1988 I started my company as a full time Autograph business, I have been from the start a Universal Autograph Collectors Club member and went on to join the registered dealer programme as dealer number 86.



In 2012 I beacame an AFTAL approved dealer number 120,  this organisation works hard with Police and trading standards to help stamp out forgeries and fakes. Every dealer joining the Approved dealer programme goes through a rigourous vetting process to ensure authenticity.


I am one of only two U.K dealers ever to have completed both the Authentication and Appraisal courses in the U.S.A. The appraisal course alone lasts nine hours of classroom instruction.  


During the years I have written for numerous autograph publications /Magazines and have become a UACC director and now hold the position of Executive board director within the UACC.

In 2000 I won the dealer of the year award and have since been honoured by the UACC


In 1999 I started Autographica Events , the worlds largest Autograph show, which now has 2 shows a year and attracts more than four thousand visitors


The show has brought you many fantastic actors, Astronauts and celebrities. To name a few Joan Collins, Ernest Borgnine, Joanna Lumley, Buzz Aldrin etc. Running this show gives me unique access to many celebrity autographs
